Over two million words of legal documents, contracts, various media & software. Specialized in software localization. Also large-volume in: instruction brochures, employee manuals, advertising copy, miscellanea. Committed to fulfilling deadline and quality expectations. Active in training of Colleagues.
  • Experience. Telecom bid documentation: AirTouch Cellular Systems “GSM 900” (1995-96).
  • Interpretation: live films; media conferences – government, business, academia & professional associations (AMR Corp., Compaq, McDonald’s, others).
  • Extensive courtroom experience: in Federal Immigration & Criminal courts. Also: Staff Interpreter, Chief Judge’s Office, Cook County Criminal Court System – 1998 to date. References available.
  • Jan. - Aug. 1996: Director, City Promotion Department – Municipal government, Plock, POLAND.
  • Supervised a staff of eight in City of  Plock, Poland. Duties included coordination of urban planning with business development/promotion. Supervised city promotional publications. Outside representative functions, handling business contacts/propects. Extensive public relations assignments.
  • Sept. 1991–March 2003: OPI Interpreter/StaffTrainer–Language Line, LLC.  Provided direct, over-phone language services for corporate and individual clients. Designed company English-Polish resources: Legal Terms Glossary and Computer Terms Glossary to LLS Training Department specifications. Staff Trainer.
  • Aug. 1990–Aug. 1992: Graduate Research Assistant / Technical Editor – Journalism Monographs and Journalism Quarterly Book Reviews.  Responsible for covers, layout & graphics. Acquired extensive publishing experience, including: word processor software and DTP: PageMaker, FrameMaker, Quark, others. Working daily with printing & graphics shops.
  • 1999-2002:   Reviewer, NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC MAGAZINE Polish Edition. Proofread and re-cast text for articles in the renowned National Geographic monthly.
